Oude Hoogstraat

In 2022 Mathilde ran a small artspace in the Oude Hoogstraat in Amsterdam and named it Kijkpunt. The name loosly translates as viewpoint and filled the shop window her photo project Seeding Economy and the other window with sketches and paintings, it was a stop moment in a busy heart and touristic center of the city Amsterdam. Kijkpunt worked also reversed as frontseat for Mathilde muPe to watch people passing by her temporary shop / workspace. In the spring and summer Mathilde muPe documented the street in her drawings and added the new works to the shopping window . Below is a selection of her drawings from that period.
