Occupy Amsterdam 2011

15 Octobre was the start of the event Occupy Amsteram, one of many occupy events world wide. In a nutshell; people camp in front of a major kapitalistic building in a city as protest against agressive Kapitalisme at cost of the 99%.

In Amsterdam the Beursplein in front of the stock exchange is turned into a camping ground. The protest is as peacefull as possible and strains itself to represent all people who are upset about the trend where money has become more important than people, intellect, health, arts, sports, animals and so on. No Political party or t-shirt stands. The camp site is organised at the moment of the need.

Since 15 Octobre the camp site has grown from 20 tents to 100. Even during days of freezing rain showers more people joined the protest, the pro people testimony.
