Hartjesdag on the Zeedijk, Amsterdam

This tradition is also referred to as Amsterdam Carnival. However this day used to be a custom in all major cities in the porvence Noord-Holland. Hartjesdag falls in August and it is a crossdress festival. Now adays it is a thing organized by Zeedijk quarter in Amsterdam and becomes more and more a queen parade.
